She leaves behind her children William Stogrin (Jocelyn), Sophie Stogrin (Neil), Carol Stogrin, Patricia Hawke (Ward), Katherine Green (Joseph), Joseph Stogrin (Tanya) grandchildren Steven Stogrin, Sarah Desveaux (Darryl), Shannon Prejet (Donovan), John Green (Morgan), Scott Green (Kathryn), Shane Snow (Colette), Shawna Snow (Jason), Caitlyn Stogrin-Voisine (Ryan), Amanda Stogrin, Chris Stogrin, great-grandchildren Clare, Grace, Ruth, Tess, Dominic, and Keira.
Sisters Mary Kosc, Stella Locosavich, Vicky Denton , Lorea Pleshka, and the Roschuk brothers John, Joe, Kazmir, Peter, several brothers/sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews and too many cousins to mention.
Born in Edmonton, joined WW2 war effort in 1939 in Hamilton.
Served in planes actively in the “Cold War” looking for USSR submarines & other naval activity near North America, North Africa, Europe and the far North Atlantic as well as on several ships including the destroyer Micmac, frigate La Hulloise (commanding officer), aircraft carrier Warrior.
During most of this service to Canada, wife Carol raised 2 boys and 2 girls. Mary Brown February 28, 1922 – October 7, 2017 Mary (Mom) passed away October 7th smiling and peaceful with her family at her side.
He was “old school” about duty, ethics, doing the right thing and helping those in need. Predeceased by son Patrick and beloved husband Laurie, she will be forever loved and missed by her children Sheilagh (Don), Danny (Carroll) and Kelly, her grandchildren Choyal, Eric, Nicholas, Megan (Scott), Rachel and Laurie and great grandchildren Madison, Kamien and Westley. Although she struggled with ALS these last few years her cheerfulness and determination never failed.
Celebration of Life will be held at Carleton Memorial United Church, Melfa Crescent on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at with reception in church hall after.

When the ALS began to accellerate she was given wonderful, thoughtful and compassionate care by Community Health nurses, home care staff, and friends. We especially want to thank Dr Burns for his special attention to mom.
She is predeceased by her husband George Caskey, and survived by her son John and daughter Jean.
Jean’s husband Marco Zarco, Jean’s daughter Natalie Anderson (Morocz) her husband Greg and daughters Lily and Holly.
They worked and raised their family in the same house until 1992, as Frank’s uncle John passed away and they then moved to Chatfield Manitoba to live on the Stogrin farm.
They lived a happy life during those semi-retirement years.
